You follow your mentor excitedly out of the camp for the first time. He takes you to the hunting gorge, and teaches you a variety of hunting moves. You suddenly spot a vole. "May I hunt it?" you ask, you don't wait for a reply and pounce on the vole rustling the nearby leaves. It scurries into it's hole before you even get to it. " You'll never hunt like that, " Foxtail hurred laughingly, " Watch, " he commands. Foxtail drops low to the forest floor nearly invisible among the leaves and grass. He slides his tail just above the ground as to not rustle anything. He expertly adjusted his position and silently sprung into the air trapping a mouse and killing it with a quick nip to the neck on his way down. You stare in amazement, Foxtail advises, " Try the hunting stance that I used. " You crouch down, sway slightly to the side, and fall over. You try again and manage to scurry along the ground. You catch Foxtail's tail flick toward a tree, a small bird sits on the ground digging for worms. Silently, well almost silently, you stalk the bird and - wait - a flash of brown fur catches your eye. It's a rabbit snuffling for seeds under some plants. it's much bigger and it'll probably feed more cats….
